US Sassuolo will face fellow middle-table side SS Lazio in an
Italian Serie A match at the MAPEI Stadium on 21 October.

The Black and Greens drew 1-1 with US Lecce away on 6 October and they are now winless in their last two matches in this competition.
Sassuolo lost to AC Monza in their last home game and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run at the MAPEI Stadium - Città del Tricolore.
Meanwhile, Lazio emerged a s 3-2 winners over Atalanta BC at home on 8 October and it was their second win in their last three Serie A games.
The Eagles are winless in their last two matches on the road in the league having recorded two consecutive defeats as the visitors.

Sassuolo have no suspension worries, but Agustín Álvarez, Mattia Viti and Matheus Henrique are all currently nursing their respective injuries.
Roma, on the other hand, will be without Mattia Zaccagni, Ciro Immobile, Ivan Provedel and Cristiano Lombardi who are all out injured, but the club has no suspension issues.

"We have to get to the final version where the level of energy, of determination… is what we expressed in large parts of today’s game," Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri said after his side's win over Atalanta.
"We need to rediscover a bit of solidity, even though we didn’t concede much to Atalanta today. As I told the boys at the end of the first half, inside the box we can do better.
"We need more attention, to be less superficial and more decisive in those situations."

Lazio secured a 2-0 win over Sassuolo in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 3 May 2023 at the Stadio Olimpico.
As a result, the Eagles are undefeated in their last three league games against the Black and Greens having recorded three successive wins.
